BERNHARD WÖSTHEINRICH: A GUEST OF THE ‘ELEKTROLANKOS’ SHOW OF THE RADIO STATION OPUS 3
\'\' On May 19th, 2008, at 20:00, on the air of the radio station ‘Opus 3’, the broadcast "Elektrolankos" will be hosting two guests: percussionist Tomas Dobrovolskis (Lithuania) and Bernhard Wöstheirich (Germany). Bernhard is a performer of electronic music, painter and graphic designer, composer, keyboard player, and also plays electronic percussion instruments. Bernhard and guitarist Markus Reuter have established advertising and music agency, and creative duet CENTROZOON. He participates actively in art exhibitions, presents image and music installation projects at international festivals, takes part in multimedia projects abroad: Virtual Arts Day (Helsinki, Finland), Ars Electronica (Linz, Austria), KLAK Klangmuseum (Kassel, Germany), Expanded Cinema Festival (Freiburg, Germany), Live-set on air radio program ‘Star's end’ (Philadelphia, USA). He has worked with the creator of experimental art house filmmaker Telemach Wiesinger, Ian Boddy, Klaus Hoffmann-Hoock, No-Man signer Tim Bowness, Thorsten Niestrath and Synapscape's Philipp Münch. He has developed a solo project ‘The Redundant Rocker’. This Sunday, at 20:00, all fans of electronic music are kindly welcome to turn their radio on.

CREATIVE WORKSHOP WITH GERMAN ARTIST UNDER THE PROJECT ‘CREATE IN LITHUANIA’
\'\' On May 16-19, 2008, German artist and electronic music performer Bernhard Wöstheinrich was visiting Lithuania. The artist attended many cultural tourism centres of attraction, met Lithuanian performers, artists, business people and employees of the Music Information Centre. During one event, which took place in charming forests of Dzūkija, he painted a couple of paintings, which he later gave away to famous people of Lithuania. The artist also intends to come to the summer art academy ‘Art Baltica’ and work together with talented Lithuanian youth, as well as take part in Lithuanian-German joint music projects.
