A CONCERT OF CHAMBER MUSIC AND IMPROVISATIONS IN STOPKĖ (UŽUPIS)
On the 28th July 2009 (Tuesday), in the gallery-club “Stopkė”, from 20:00 to 23:00, a concert of chamber music and improvisations will be taking place. Turkish pedagogues and performers: Zafer Yümlü (French horn), Tuğrul Göğüş (violin), Süleyman Yildirim and Mert Kayali (classic guitar); participants of the 3rd international summer art academy “Art Baltica 2009”: Agnis Belte, blind girl Loreta Taluntytė, choreographer Marina Levickienė, "Drum Fever" percussionist Martynas Sučyla, project manager and the abundant fold will be visiting Užupis, an oasis of Vilnius artists.
According to Darius Laumenis, the gallery-club “Stopkė”, set in the premises of the former garage of Užupis art incubator, should be the place where days are allotted to creation and work, and nights – for a good time in a fine. Everyone who is willing to try themselves in playing music will be able to do that here. Užupis is full of good and creative spirits. Create. Share. Enjoy. The concert will be broadcasted live on the internet: www.internetTV.lt
